      Financial Protection with ABTOT & ATOL

      How your money is protected when you travel with Much Better Adventures.

      • Much Better Adventures is a Member of ABTOT and ATOL. What this means and how you are protected is detailed below.

      ABTOT and ATOL Membership

      All new bookings for non-flight packages only on the Much Better Adventures Platform from 1st January 2023 onwards are financially protected by ABTOT.


      The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT) provides
      financial protection under its ATOL Franchise and The Package Travel and Linked
      Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 for Gentianes Solutions Limited (trading as Much Better Adventures) number 5475, ATOL number 12365, and in the event of their insolvency, protection is provided for the following:

      1. non-flight packages;
      2. flight inclusive packages that commence outside of the UK, which are sold to
      customers outside of the UK; and
      3. flight inclusive packages, flight only and linked travel arrangements (LTAs)
      sold as a principal under the ABTOT ATOL Franchise.

      ABTOT cover provides for a refund in the event you have not yet travelled or
      repatriation if you are abroad. Please note that bookings made by customers
      outside the UK are only protected by ABTOT when purchased directly with Much Better Adventures.

      In the unlikely event that you require assistance whilst abroad due to our financial
      failure, please call ABTOT’s 24/7 helpline on 01702 811397 and advise you are a
      customer of an ABTOT protected travel company.

      • Much Better Adventures is a Member of ATOL with membership number: 12365.
      • All the flights and flight inclusive holidays on this website are
        financially protected either by ABTOT or the ATOL scheme. When you pay for
        something protected by the ATOL scheme you will be supplied with an ATOL
        Certificate.
      • Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you booked
        (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it. Please see our booking conditions
        for further information or for more information about financial protection and the
        ATOL Certificate look here.
      • Some of the flights and flight - inclusive holidays on the Much Better Adventures Platform are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed on Much Better Adventures.
      • Much Better Adventures will provide you with information on the protection that applies in the case of each holiday and travel service offered before you make your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected.
      • If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. Please see our booking conditions for information or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: www.caa.co.uk
