Travelling with accessibility needs or a disability

If you have accessibility needs or a disability and you're unsure about joining a trip, please get in touch.

We want as many people as possible to experience wild places. If you have a disability, mobility requirement, or any other accessibility need, the most important thing is to get in touch with us before you book.

We'll take your questions to the Host (the independent operator who runs the trip on the ground in each destination) and come back to you with an honest answer.

Every adventure is different, and accessibility provision varies by location. Terrain, accommodation, local infrastructure, equipment usage, guide ratios and activity intensity are all important variables to consider.

We can't guarantee that adjustments will always be possible, but we will always work hard to explore what is, and be straightforward with you about what isn't. Where possible and safe to accommodate specific needs, we'll strive to make it happen in collaboration with the Host.

Get in touch before you bookEmail us at hello@muchbetteradventures.com and tell us:
  • The trip you're interested in
  • The nature of your accessibility need or requirement
  • Any mobility aids, medication, or medical considerations relevant to travel
  • Whether you'll be travelling with a support companion

Trip Grading & Small Group TravelOur trips run from Level 1 (easy) to Level 7 (challenging), covering a wide range of physical demands. Smaller group sizes, typically 6 to 16 people, are a feature of most trips on our platform. This range means there's often more flexibility than you might expect, and we'd encourage you to get in touch rather than rule anything out.
