The Kit Lists on each adventure page are written by our local hosts who know how variable the weather can be in their destinations. Although in some cases the kit list may seem excessive, these have been purposefully designed to ensure you are prepared for all eventualities and able to successfully complete your adventure - so we always recommend following the kit list exactly.

We also recommend hiring kit if this is feasible instead of purchasing items that you may not use extensively again. Our hosts often have items to hire, but there are also options online where the kit will be posted to your home address and when you return home you just post it back. Easy!
