Will the situation in Ukraine affect my upcoming adventure?

We are monitoring the situation in Ukraine very closely, but after consultation with the FCDO and our local partners on the ground, we are confident that, as things currently stand, there is no impact on our upcoming adventures in Slovakia, Romania and Georgia.

We take the safety of our customers extremely seriously and will keep the situation under close review. However it is important to recognise that although some of these countries share a border with Western Ukraine, it is a vast country with Kyiv over 700 miles away from where the trips take place. That is equivalent to the distance between London and Geneva.

We will always follow the official safety travel advice from the UK Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and your trip will only be cancelled if:

  1. The FCDO updates their travel advice to advise against all travel to a destination.

  2. The destination introduces new border restrictions which prohibit non-essential arrivals.

In the unlikely event the situation changes and it is no longer safe to travel any time up to the day of departure, Much Better Adventures will cancel your trip and you will be offered the option to:

  1. Convert your booking into account credit - which can be put towards any future adventure of your choice.

  2. Get a full refund. We process 100% of refunds within 14 days.

If for any reason you wish to cancel your booking, you have the flexibility to cancel up to 50 days before departure on most trips - see your booking for specific details on your cancellation terms and our book with confidence page for further information.

If you have any questions about this please do get in touch with our friendly customer support team, we're always happy to help.

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure you understand and comply with all the entry criteria for your destination countries.
