When do departure dates go live?
This article explains when trip departure dates are released, why timing can vary between trips, when new dates are typically added, and how you can stay informed if your preferred dates aren’t yet available.
We try to put new departure dates on sale as early as possible - especially for our most popular trips, our bucket-list adventures and long haul destinations - but the exact timing can vary from trip to trip.
Our general approach
Where we can, we aim to have up to two years’ worth of departure dates available for each trip. This gives you plenty of time to plan ahead, whether you’re booking far in advance or lining up a big adventure for the future. That said, not all trips are able to go live at the same time.
Why some dates appear earlier than others
Many of our adventures rely on local logistics that can only be confirmed at certain times, such as:
- Accommodation or hut availability
- Guide schedules
- Seasonal permits
- Internal Flight Arrangements
- Local booking windows that vary by country
Because of this, some trips will have dates available much further in advance, while others may be added closer to departure once these details are confirmed.
When to expect new dates
In general, most trips will have dates for the following year added at least by the end of the current year, and many will appear earlier than that. New departures are added on a rolling basis, so it’s always worth checking back.
If you’re looking for dates beyond what’s currently showing, it usually means they’re still being finalised rather than unavailable.
