The Big Trip Refund August 2026 — Terms and Conditions

Prize draw terms and conditions (for legal review)

1. The promotion

1.1 "The Big Trip Refund" prize draw ("the Promotion") is run by Much Better Adventures, the trading name of Gentianes Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 06916506, with its registered office at Nucleus House, 2nd Floor, 2 Lower Mortlake Road, Richmond, England, TW9 2JA ("the Promoter").

1.2 The Promotion runs from 24 August 2026 to 31 August 2026 (23:59 BST) ("the Promotion Period").

1.3 The Promotion is open to residents of any market in which Much Better Adventures runs this campaign, aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter and their immediate families.

2. How to enter

2.1 Booking entry: anyone who books a trip with Much Better Adventures during the Promotion Period will automatically be entered into the Promotion. No additional action is required.

2.2 Free entry (no purchase necessary): anyone may enter without booking a trip by writing their full name, email address, and home address on a postcard or sealed envelope, marked "The Big Trip Refund Prize Draw", and posting it to:

Free entries must be postmarked by 31 August 2026. One free entry per person for the duration of the Promotion Period. The Promoter is not responsible for entries lost, delayed, or damaged in the post. Postage costs are not reimbursed.

2.3 Entries received via the booking route and the free route have an equal chance of winning. The method of entry does not affect selection.

3. The prize

3.1 If the winning entry is a booking entry: the prize is a full refund of the cost of one traveller's place on the trip booked, with no maximum cap. Where a booking includes more than one traveller, only one traveller's share of the total booking cost is refunded; the remainder of the booking is not discounted or refunded.

3.2 If the winning entry is a free (postal) entry: the prize is a cash payment of £500.

3.3 There is one winner. The prize is not transferable, and no cash alternative is offered to a booking-entry winner in place of the trip refund.

4. Winner selection and notification

4.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries (booking and free entries combined) after the Promotion Period closes, and will be contacted in September 2026 using the contact details provided at entry.

4.2 If the winner cannot be reached within 5 working days of first attempted contact, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries.

5. General

5.1 The Promoter's decision on all matters relating to the Promotion is final.

5.2 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms or cancel the Promotion where necessary due to circumstances outside its control, and will notify entrants of any material changes.

5.3 Personal data collected for entry will be used only for the purposes of administering the Promotion and contacting the winner, in line with the Promoter's privacy policy (https://help.muchbetteradventures.com/privacy-policy). Postal entrants' personal details will not be retained beyond the administration of the Promotion and will be destroyed once the winner has been confirmed.

5.4 This Promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
