How is the conflict in the Middle East impacting trips to Jordan

We understand you might have some questions or concerns about travelling so take a look at these FAQs below:
Are trips in Jordan still running normally?
Sadly (as of 17:00 on 2nd March 2026), the UK FCDO advice has changed and now advises 'against all but essential travel to Jordan'.
In light of this change in government advice, and with our customer's safety and overall experience as our top priority, we’re unable to proceed with all trips departing in March. We are now in contact with all affected customers to cancel their bookings and help rearrange their plans.
If you have booked flights or other arrangements independently, you will need to contact your airline in the first instance to explore your options. If required, we can provide supporting documentation for travel insurance claims relating to flights or other non-refundable costs.
For those, travelling in April, May and June 2026 - all trips are 'on hold' while the travel advice remains against ‘all but essential travel to Jordan'. We are currently working on a rolling basis, and making decisions on whether to confirm or cancel a trip no later than 14 days prior to the departure date of a trip. We expect to continue making decisions in a similar way moving forward, however if we can make decisions earlier, we will.
For those travelling from September 2026 onwards. We’ll continue to monitor the situation closely through the FCDO, our specialist safety partners and our local host and will always prioritise your safety. Your trip is still scheduled to run, so there’s nothing you need to do right now - we’ll be back in touch if anything changes and when your departure date becomes closer.
What happens if my trip does get cancelled at short notice?
You will get a full refund, or have the option to change dates or take credit to travel on a different adventure. Regardless of which option you choose we will provide you with a document to support you making a claim for flights with your travel insurance: so do ensure you have taken out cancellation cover straight away.
If anything changes, we will post further updates on this page. Our customer service team are also always here to help: you can contact them on hello@muchbetteradventures.com.
